 unknown destiny. [SP: 6]
« Result #2 on Nov 20, 2007, 6:39pm »

In life everyone has their own destinies to fulfill, wither it be something that is good or something that is bad. In the end, if that destiny is set in stone, they were more likely than not fulfill it. Only one person knew of this, for a prophecy was never created about. And no one would know until it was too late.

An old seer sat alone in her cottage, not to far from where the Tonks family lived. All night visions had been throwing themselves at her as each event changed in the war. Finally when they stopped she knew the outcome, Harry Potter had managed to defeat the Dark Lord and all was right in the wizarding world once again.

But then another vision, her very last one, threw it’s self at her, playing out each detail how it would play out in the future. She saw a woman in love desperately searching for her mate. She saw them find each other, the male telling the female that he was to marry another woman unless they were to marry over the summer, which was a lie but the young woman was too in love to see it. She saw a wedding, not many people attended but the names of the people she could hear softly… ‘Do you Ginevra Molly Weasley take Draco Malfoy to be you’re…’ the rest of the words were drowned out as the moment shifted from the wedding to another time period. The red head woman, Ginny, was screaming in pain as she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. And then the finally, most important detail of them all, the second child of Ginny and Draco Malfoy would declare himself the next Dark Lord, and he was ten times as hard to defeat since his mother and father both knew what Voldemort's flaws were, and they both supported their son.

The woman died from a heart attack soon after seeing the grey future, and how the two people would partake in it.

Miles always the vision had already begun to come true as a pale blonde boy slipped a engagement ring onto the finger of a fiery red head.

it was the nargles. [SP: 5]
« Result #3 on Nov 20, 2007, 6:38pm »

The minute he came back, he knew something was wrong. He could tell that there was something different, even when Harry was prying Hermione off of him and separating the two. They didn't say anything, but he could tell. The looks they gave each other, the moments of flushing whenever they accidentally touched each other...there was something there that they weren't telling him, and he knew it.

He tried to shake it off, tried to forget that it was the girl he had had a major crush on. He hadn't made his move, and she had moved on. They were probably better off than he and she would ever be anyway. They would always be arguing about something trivial. And, if it got Harry away from his sister...but even so, he still felt remorse. No, he didn't show it, he couldn't let them know that it was bothering him. Besides, they were being decent and trying to refrain from any contact. But he knew it would take a while to get over this one.

Then the war was over. Everyone was cheering, and he was so excited. And with a few words from a few different people, he was sent home. He and all the other Weasleys left to, for once in a long time, be a real family again, along with Harry and Hermione. The first few days of being home was normal, and nothing out of the ordinary was going on. That was until he started to find the pink parchments left at his bedside.

Each one had a strange scent to them, yet they were soothing none-the-less to him. They were written in black ink, however the script was loopy and elegant. And as he read through them, he realized he had a secret admirer. Usually, the notes were only comprised of one sentence, something describing a positive quality of Ron. Maybe it read that his loyalty to his friends was his strongest trait and it was respected. Maybe it was something that was pouring over his looks. Either way, the notes, surprisingly, made him smile.

He now had a collection of these, and was starting to get curious as to who wrote them. He even questioned Luna Lovegood when she stopped by for an unexpected visit once. "Perhaps it was the Nargles. I've heard that they're becoming a large infestation this year," she replied dreamily. Then, it clicked. Could it have been Lavender? He had been told countless times that she was still fawning over him, brooding that she had ever broken up with him. And with that, he owled the girl he hadn't seen in a while. His message got right to the point, and he'd figure out if it was her once and for all. Or so he thought.

When Lavender Brown received a letter asking if she had been sending Ron Weasley love notes, she thought that this would be her one chance. She had always been sour about breaking up with him, once she realized her mistake. For so long she thought she wouldn't be able to ever get back to him, and yet here was her choice, being handed to her on a silver platter. She scribbled back a response of 'yes,' and sent it back to him. This would be her last shot. When Ron got the message, he excitedly told Luna (who had come by for yet another odd visit) that he had figured it out and that it had been Lavender. Too bad Ron was horrible at understanding a girl's emotions, because Luna's eyes lost their sparkle when she heard this. Will Ron ever know the truth, or will he go on to believe that he's getting love letters from a devious girl who is desperate?

you can't read about love. [SP: 2]
« Result #4 on Nov 20, 2007, 6:36pm »

She was always confused about love. Sure, Viktor was a wonderful guy, he was sweet, but it just wasn't right. They just didn't fit together. They lived so far apart, it didn't make sense. So at the end of her sixth year, she assumed the role of being friends with him. That was also when she was having issues with Ron. She couldn't talk to him any more-he was always snogging Lavender Brown. That year she gave up on her best friend, thinking that he was better off with someone else, someone he didn't argue with non-stop.

He had had something amazing with her. He really thought it was perfect. But then he had to break it off, end everything he had. Seeing tears in those brown eyes of hers made his heart break, and the worst part about it was that he had to walk away. If he didn't have a relationship with her, she wouldn't be targeted by Voldemort. At first, it was wretched, having to see her so much but not being able to be with her. Then, that was when he realized that it wasn't meant to be. He would always be on a mission to defeat some form of Dark Arts. He couldn't put her in that situation, never knowing if he was still alive, could he? She would be better off with someone who could give her more. Besides-she didn't understand that he loved spending time with his best friends. Then again, that could have been because she knew that they couldn't spend much time together. Even so, his heart was torn in thinking right from wrong. It never mended until he saw her explosion when she found out that Hermione and Ron would be accompanying him on his secret journey. 'Why can't I come?' 'You're letting them go, and not me?' 'I'm not weak!' Were some of the many phrases she shouted at him when she found out. But the main event, what made him decide they weren't meant to be together, was when she tried to kiss him as a birthday gift, and he pushed her away without even thinking about it.

So, with a glowering Ginny, he, Ron, and Hermione left on the hunt for the Horcruxes. They traveled all across Britain, both in the Muggle World and the Wizarding World. They were convicted as criminals not too long after, and all three worried about what their friends at Hogwarts were going through, if they were being tortured to get answers about the trio's whereabouts. The three were sullen, depressed, and weary. They had no clue where the horcruxes were, and they were loosing hope. Then, their spirits were lifted when they found out that Dolores Umbridge, that toad of a woman who had made their lives a living hell from the fifth year, had it. Even though sneaking into the Ministry of Magic was a hard task, and they were discovered, they managed to get the locket of Salazar Slytherin. Now, they had to destroy it.

They each took turns wearing it, knowing that they couldn't leave it anywhere for fear of it being taken. Once again, they were back to square one, since they didn't have Godric Gryffindor's sword, the only thing they knew could destroy the horcrux. Then, one night, when everyone was tired and agitated, Ron went ballistic, his emotions doubled from the locket that he was wearing, and he left. Dissaperated. Hermione was thrown into a hysterical fit, already on the verge of exploding from all of the pent up emotions. And Harry was her shoulder to cry on, he sat there with her and did his best to comfort her. From that day, he decided that he hated Ron. He hated Ron for leaving, he hated Ron for being such a prat, but he mainly hated Ron for putting his other best friend into the state she was in.

They stopped talking about Ron. The trio became a duo, and they weren't half-bad. Without Ron constantly prodding Hermione to start a row, she could actually be soft-spoken and she wasn't always trying to prove Harry wrong. Then again, the gentle nature could be from her exasperation of Ron gone. As far as he knew, she probably still had feelings for the red-head. Maybe he, too, was having withdraws from a loving relationship. It wasn't until Hermione was nearly killed from his mistake of wanting to go to Godric's Hollow and meeting Nagini disguised as Bathilda Bagshot that he realized just how much he cared for the bookworm. She denied it being his fault, claiming she had originally said she wanted to go as well, thinking it was a good idea. And, she countered back that she was ready for an attack, and she had, in fact, gotten him out of there in one piece. He was getting frustrated at the fact that she wouldn't accept his guilt, and in a sudden explosion, it all came out. He was so worried because he didn't want her hurt, that he couldn't bear to see her in pain. He remembered when he saw her, helplessly lying in the hospital wing, petrified, and he knew that it was his fault she had gotten involved in the mess. He remembered when he saw her at the bottom of the Black Lake and was about to save her when Krum came, and he felt a tinge of jealousy. He remembered how injured she had gotten in the Department of Mysteries. And when all the memories flooded into his head, the only thing that he could manage to get out was 'I don't want to see you get hurt any more. I love you too much.'

At first, the two were both shocked with his words. He couldn't believe he had let that slip-but it wasn't really a slip so much as it was just something that rolled off of his tongue without thinking about it. Never had that thought crossed his mind before. He was sure that he was about to loose his friendship with Hermione, which was probably the reason as to why he was so surprised when she hastily and quite timidly returned the phrase. That night, the two discovered hidden feelings, and to this day no one knows.

the lion and the snake. [SP: 1]

Have you ever witnessed an encounter between a Gryffindor and a Slytherin? It usually turns out for the worse. That's why no one expected it to happen, no one thought for a second that he'd actually go for her. No one thought she'd be 'shallow enough,' or so her house friends said, to fall for him. So, what exactly brought he Malfoy prodigy and the only female Weasley child together?

Maybe it was that she was upset when Harry Potter, her ex that she thought she still had feelings for, pushed her away after she gave him everything, knowing that she'd venture off to school and he could be killed by the secret journey he, Ron, and Hermione were setting off for. Maybe it was because she, at the time, started to rant about how he was the biggest git in the world to her Gryffindor friends at Hogwarts, and a passer-by Slytherin happened to have heard. And then one night it got too unbearable, and she ran outside, near the Quidditch Pitch, crying and fuming at the same time. Little did she know that the Head Boy was going to practice, and caught sight of her.

At first it was chaos. She threatened to hex him into the next century, he threatened to kill her, knowing that with Snape as the Headmaster he could get away with anything. When he pursued to taunt her about her 'lost love,' his words started to unbelievably make sense. Somehow, they both realized that they had one common hatred-Harry Potter. And, feeling withdraws from not being in Harry's arms, she started to cling to Draco. This was his chance to get to the Weasleys, so he played along with the game. It wasn't long before he realized that he was developing feelings for the Weasley, and the game turned into a relationship.

Now, Draco has graduated, and the secret the two shared has been released. Ginny had finally gotten over Harry, and her mind strayed from her hatred, but when he and Ron found out about her and Draco and attempted to murder him, a fuse ignited. And of course, since she was being rude to Ron, Ron went and told the whole family. Everywhere she turned, someone was saying something degrading about her. It didn't help that she had a child shortly after Harry defeated Voldemort, either. With her whole family turning their backs on her, she ran off with Draco, not even bothering to complete school. She told him everything-well, almost everything. She vowed not to tell him; she knew he would leave her if she did. After all, how could he stand to be with her if he had to be around the daughter that wasn't really his?

The celebrations echoed in the golden Hall. Food lined a table, the platters gleaming as they replenished their supplies. Each voice was filled with pride as they bragged about how they had aided Harry in some way to their younger friends. Even the most strict of professors bore a grin, looking around at the faces who truly conquered Voldemort, before pausing on those who really didn't help at all. Her smile grew into a frown as she noted that they were boasting about how they 'knew Harry would win' or they 'helped defeat Voldemort.' These students, in all honesty, had no clue what it was like. If only they knew...

You could tell the difference from those who had just been a bystander in the war, and who had actually lived through the torture and pain of it. Those who had witnessed what Voldemort could really do, who had been at his whim many times before, had fake smiles, and some even were solemn as they eagerly tried to change the topic of the war. She pitied them, really. Forever they'd remember the blood, they'd always see their best friends and family drop in front of their eyes, killed because they were trying to protect a cause. They'd always remember what it was like to go to a school where Death Eaters were the elite staff and had no problems inflicting major injury.

The war is now over. Voldemort is gone, his curse once again backfiring, but this time he had no horcruxes left to bring him back. The minute you could tell that he would not win, the Death Eaters fled, some of them succeeding in remaining alive. Each one that escaped ran off in a different way and went into hiding. Each one has taken up a different name and started a new life. Each one is secretly planning to collaborate with another. Each one wants another uprise.

Many students participated in the war, and in turn they are shaken up. Their memories are shattered, their happiness has been drained. Sure, they realize that they won, but they knew that it wasn't over, and they wouldn't ever be able to rid themselves of the gruesome memories of torture and pain they suffered. It seems each day a student recalls horrible scenes, and they have flashbacks. A few aren't suffering from the traumatic experience, but they too still have vivid memories that are sometimes pushed into their field of view.

All the Seventh Years have graduated, regardless of what their grades might have been. "Those idiots they called 'professors' didn't give you fair grades, and since we can't make you repeat the year, you've all been given passing marks," Headmistress McGonagall had said in her speech at the after party. This was a relief to many students, as well as Harry, Ron, and Hermione, since they hadn't gone to Hogwarts for their last year, and now that they were being told they wouldn't earn negative marks on their records, they realized they could pursue any career they wanted.

Dolores Umbridge was removed from the Ministry, as was many of those who were collaborating with Voldemort during the past year, and quite possibly longer. Amelia Bones has officially been titled Minister, and she has already been deep in work fixing the corrupted Ministry that Scrimgeour and Fudge had devised.

So, what will happen with all of the brave and loyal souls who aided Harry? Will they go off and seek an occupation that makes them happy? Will the Wizarding World be at peace again, or will there be a new uprising? The choice is yours, and yours alone. It's time for you to choose-where do your loyalties lie?
